Long standing traditions at Pat's Pizza in Yarmouth
Owners since 1978, John Kyle and son Chris have kept the "family" in the business.
One of my favorite places to eat pizza, and you know I have a lot of them, is Pat's Pizza. With the original location in Orono - and nine other locations - Pat's Pizza in Yarmouth has always won the award thanks to the competent waitresses, convenient location, vintage signage, sports memorabilia and consistent great food.

Seriously, what do they put in the pizza sauce? It's not only addicting, it's mouth-watering. Pizzas range from $5.50 for a 9" to $18.15 for a specialty pie and with multiple toppings and suggestions for combinations - choosing can be extremely difficult. I just play it safe and get onion and pepperoni. Every. Single. Time. Allergic to gluten? Pat's in Yarmouth has gluten-free crust and many vegetarian and low-fat options for people with particular needs.
They also have bread sticks ($3.50), which are another great way to get that tasty sauce in your mouth. Try the nachos ($6.25) or the steak quesedilla ($7.35.) Baked potato and soup or salad will run you $5.50 and they have tons of rollup sandwiches, burgers and low-cost dinners like stuffed shells ($7.15) and chicken cacciatore ($8.35.)

The children's menu has the classic child favorites and the dessert menu includes ice cream on a cone with jimmies (child favorite) and apple crisp. When the owner heard I was doing a review, he sent a fresh baked crisp my way. (Take note, fellow owners - this does earn you extra points!) Piping hot, fresh apples, chewy and crispy, with a huge scoop of french vanilla ice cream on top. Yummy!
Yarmouth locals love the bar at Pat's. Please say hi to my friend Randy while admiring the beer selection. On draft, they carry Budweiser ($2.65), Bud Light, Stella Artois, Geary's ($3.50), Guinness, Harpoon IPA, Miller Lite, PBR, Samuel Adams, Shipyard and Shipyard Seasonal and Gritty's. Geary's pitcher for $11.25 or PBR for $6! Bottle varieties include Amstel Light, Budweiser ($2.80), Bud Light, Coors Light, Corona, Heineken, Heineken Light, Miller Genuine Draft, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, Newcastle, Rolling Rock, Seadog Blueberry ($3.10), Twisted and Raspberry Twisted Tea and the Gluten-free Red Bridge ($4.25). Pat's has a fully stocked bar for liquor options, featuring daily drinks named after bartenders and several wine choices like Sterling pinot grigio, Coppola chardonnay and Smoking Loon pinot noir.

So, what's on special, you ask? Every Monday through Friday, mixed well drinks are $3.50. $2 drafts and bottles and half-priced appetizers are in full swing. During Red Sox and football games, shown on the NFL package, you can get many domestic beers for $1.99 and special priced apps. Thursday's bring Sam Adams for $3.
While I frequently consider this a family restaurant, with it's huge dining room loaded with booths and televisions, I also adore a place I can share a pitcher and watch the game with my friends in the bar. Pat's Pizza in Yarmouth meets all my dining out needs, regardless of who I am with.

I go back all the way to Pat's in Orono . Spent a lot of time at Pats, on Main St. Nice Pub down stairs and also a great place to go when your up in the Bangor Maine Area for a slice.
Posted by Lee in MaineBut I can't forget Pat's at Yarmouth. same tradition with the best Pizza in Maine. I live in Cape Elizabeth now and going up to Yarmouth to Pat's brings back my days at UMO.
