Local beers! Guaranteed Fresh! Oh, and a sweet deck overlooking the river: Gritty's, Auburn

There definitely IS something happening in downtown Auburn, as the area continues to grow and position itself as a destination worth visiting rather than a hub of convenience. The Gritty McDuff's brew pubs recognized that and in 2005 opened their newest location on the Auburn side of the banks of the Androscoggin River, just before the bridge.
