Thirty Days and Counting

Harvest on the Harbor, Portland, ME, October 23-25, 2008

I have mentioned this event a few times and now it's time to provide some detailed information. Below covers Harvest on the Harbor -- Maine's new culinary tourism event. Harvest was established on the idea that attracting more foodies to Maine off-season, during what tourism pros refer to as "shoulder season," is a good thing. Culinary tourism is a growing industry. Maine's popularity as a culinary destination is growing, too. So launching Harvest on the Harbor seems like a good idea. I hope you agree. Also I hope that you will come out and celebrate our restaurant community and the many food, wine, spirit, beer, and culinary lifestyle suppliers bringing Harvest on the Harbor to life. Cheers.
