Perspectives from the Pack

Each skater has a different perspective in the pack. Some skaters are terrified and praying to just make it through alive. Some feel like they're approaching a pack of wild boars. In the blog found at www.schnozzfest.com, a roller girl who plays for St. Louis posted an image from Braveheart to describe her feelings when she approached the pack. The Maine rollergirls were inspired and had a blast posting their perceptions of the pack as well.

After realizing this move to the outside was a terrible mistake, she sees

Since I only play the front of the pack, I think of it the way you do Punchy. And when it's over, I think I want to play again. TB thinks of us as a boring work meeting, hahaha! We know she loves those!

Thanks for sharing this with everyone, Punchy. I think it's nice for people to be able to get a idea of how we feel when we play. It's also very cool to compare perspectives with each other, actually! Keep, blogging, and I'll keep reading 'em!

This whole concept and the resulting image pairs made me laugh so hard i couldn't breathe. It started two days ago and i'm STILL laughing. Best blog ever for sure!

ok, my mom and i are HUGE roller derby fans, u know me because i know winter , but that's aside from the point, u r my idol i think your blogs rule , buying a pool for your daughter is one thing but putting it in the living rooom is legendary, u go down in history as the mom who is cool and had a pool in the living room!!!!!
