"Ice Age 3" Confusion

I was a little confused this morning as I learned about the third “Ice Age” installment. The first two “Ice Age” films took place when Wooly Mammoths,
Saber-tooth tigers, and giant sloths roamed the earth (natch). These animals first started appearing on earth about 300,000 years ago... about 63 million years
after the dinosaurs died out.

So naturally I was confused when I saw that the subtitle to “Ice Age 3” is “Dawn of the Dinosaurs.” Can any science or history buff explain this to me?

Good News, 80's Fans

Anybody remember TRON? That 1982 Jeff Bridges flick where a man is transported into the world of a low quality computer game?

Well after 26 years TRON is being remade into the latest of Disney Digital 3-D movies. A 2010 release date is expected.

"Family Guy" Gets Spin-Off

That's right, folks. "Family Guy's" popularity is through the roof and apparently fans can't get enough of Cleveland Brown. Cleveland is Peter Griffin's chubby, slow talking neighbor who is about to star in his own T.V. show entitled... you guessed it... “Cleveland.”

Don't get me wrong. I'm a fan of "Family Guy." But how far can this show be pushed? At home and on TV we are hounded by advertisements featuring the Griffins & Co. And it seems that we can barely leave our houses without running into them. Action figures, DVD's, key-chains, pencil-toppers, underwear, Subway value meals! This franchise has erupted. Does America really need more "Family Guy?"

And will this new series be up to par with "Family Guy?" Or will it fall flat like the unwatchable "American Dad?"

What do you think?
