Who needs clothes?: Pajama Breakfast at JJ's Eatery Too

Bathing can be so...exhausting.

Simply getting dressed on a Saturday is sometimes a proposition that's better postponed until noontime, or later.

It's nice to lounge around in your PJs, on the rare occasion you get to do so. But then you run out of milk or bread or peppermint schnapps halfway through the day and realize you must get to the store. And if you're going to be in public, you better slip into some decent pants, lest the neighbors start talking again.

But at least at JJ's Eatery Too in Old Orchard Beach, they're welcoming pajama-wearing diners. They've recently re-launched their Pajama Breakfast every third Saturday of the month. Customers who unabashedly wear their nightclothes to breakfast will get 15% off their meal - in additional to emotional support from the staff, of course.

Last Saturday marked the first Pajama Breakfast, and while two friends and I were the only people to show up in PJs that morning, there was no shame in it.

The fact that we ended up wearing our pajamas for the remainder of the day, well, that's another story.
