New Radiohead material has surfaced!

Ever since Radiohead's stellar Hail to the Thief release in 2003, fans have anxiously been waiting for their next album. It's four years after Hail to the Thief and the upcoming album is still in the works.

The Radiohead guys know better not to go this long without giving a little to the fans. On their official blog, DEAD AIR SPACE, they just released a mysterious mash-up of songs from their new album. You can download the mash-up right here.

It seems that Thom Yorke and his gang didn't want to give too much away, because the mash-up is very broken up by skips and distortion. From what I can hear on the mash-up, the songs sound great. Even though only a few seconds of each song is revealed, they show promise to fulfill another great Radiohead album. I'm very excited, and I hope their future concerts don't sell out as quickly as they did last year.

Some live versions of upcoming songs have surfaced as well. You can download these full-length live tracks: Open Pick, Arpeggi, Bangers 'n Mash, and Down is the New Up.

If you don't own any Radiohead albums, you need to go out to a local music store and buy some now. They are all amazing. They might even change your life. They certainly did for me. For beginners, pick up Hail to the Thief and The Bends. If you like them, pick up the rest. They're all good.

In other news, The White Stripes and The Polyphonic Spree released their new albums today. Be sure to pick up Icky Thump and The Fragile Army when you get the chance!
