Another special treat from stereogum!

It is the 10th anniversary of Radiohead's wonderful album, OK Computer, and stereogum has celebrated by releasing a free, full-length cover album. This tribute album includes all songs from OK Computer covered by various artists such as Cold War Kids and My Brightest Diamond. The album is called OKX: A Tribute To OK Computer, and you can download it from this page.

I've given the tribute album a listen already, and it's very good. Though some of the covers are a bit more strange than others, it's nice to see how various bands interpret Radiohead's music. My favorite covers from the tribute album are "Lucky" by My Brightest Diamond, "Karma Police" by John Vanderslice, "Fitter Happier" by Samson Dalonoga featuring The Found Sound Orchestra, "Exit Music (for a film)" by Vampire Weekend, and "Airbag" by Doveman.

There's no reason not to download this tribute album, because not only does it contain great modern artists, but it is also in tribute to Radiohead, a legendary band by my standards.

Check out steregum's OKX page for artist notes, mp3 downloads, and an essay about the relevance of OK Computer in out modern music world. I hope you enjoy!
