Step 1 - Preparation

GET ORGANIZED: Create folders for your content.
One folder will be for all your documents. Name it "web pages." Inside this folder, create another folder named "web images."

PLAN AHEAD: Before posting content on your web page, jot down the answers to the following questions:

USE A WORD PROCESSOR: Prepare your text in a word processor first. You can spell check it and read it over to ensure brevity, clarity, and good grammar.

SELECT IMAGES: Start with about four images and a logo to add color and illustrate group events. You can scan images yourself or select free clip art. Be sure to save your images in the right format (see Working with images on your site for more information). Save your images in your "web images" folder.

Now that you have your web site outline, text and images, you are ready to post them on your web site.
