Show us your woodpile contest
Do you have a woodstove in your house, or just appreciate the snap of a stick of rock maple and the dance of an open flame in your fireplace? Does the cost of home heating oil have you down? Do you like really tasty coffee? Matt?s Wood Roasted Organic Coffee, a roaster based in Pownal, Maine, is currently running a "Show Us Your Woodpile" photo contest. The individual who submits the best photograph of the wood they'll be burning this winter will receive their choice of a Bodum grinder or Aerobie Aeropress and free whole bean coffee for a year, mailed to their door. There are coffee prizes for runners up as well.
A few prize details and parameters for the contest can be found at
www.mattscoffee.com/contest.php, but the premise is pretty simple. The only requirement is that you stacked, or helped to stack, the wood in the photo yourself. The contest runs through November 15, and images can be submitted to woodpile@mattscoffee.com. Entries are limited to two per person.
