Top of the East voted the place to meet
Top of the East at the Eastland Park Hotel in downtown Portland has been named Best Place to Rendezvous by "Down East Magazine."
"It is such an honor to be voted by Down East magazine as Maine's number one place to rendezvous" said General Manager Tamara Gilliam.
The Top of the East at the Eastland Park Hotel has been a long time favorite for many. It is Portland's only roof top lounge overlooking the city skyline, Casco Bay and Back Bay.
And it could be getting better. "Top of the East will undergo a renovation that will make it even more appealing for those longing for a place to rendezvous especially for those beautiful sunsets," Gilliam said.
The Eastland is one of Portland's most historical hotels with 81 years of rich history filled with stories of various rendezvous from locals and long standing guests.
