Original 'Wizard of Oz' showing at Westbrook Cinemagic
On Sunday, April 5 at 4 pm, Westbrook Cinemagic will be showing "The Wizard of Oz" for one performance only. See this epic film the way it was intended to be viewed … on the big screen.
A costume contest for kids and adults will start at 3:30 pm and a team headed by Kim Block of News Channel 13 will judge best costumes to win prizes.
Tickets are $10 each and can only be purchased through the Cancer Community Center. For an additional $5 donation, patrons can get their picture taken with life-sized cardboard cut-outs of the characters from the movie.
To get tickets, call 774-2200 or visit www.CancerCommunityCenter.org.
All of the proceeds will go to the Cancer Community Center in South Portland.
