Want to get Lost in Yonkers?
The Community Little Theatre in Auburn will be auditioning for its June show "Lost In Yonkers" on April 13 and 14 at 7 pm. Get to Great Falls Performing Arts Center, 30 Academy St., Auburn to get in the show.
This Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner for Drama and Best Play by Neil Simon, is a touching yet funny saga of how families struggled during the war years. In 1942, when you move two young boys in with their grandmother upstairs over her candy store, and add a slightly crooked uncle and two slightly strange aunts, hardship, comedy and family all come together for one of Simon's best works.
Auditions will be open and scenes will be done by a cold reading. Show dates are June 25 at 7:30 pm; June 19, 20, 26, 27 at 8 pm; June 21 & 28 at 2 pm.
