The Landing at Pine Point to Host Opening Parties This Weekend
The Landing at Pine Point, Maine's newest premier venue for weddings,
corporate, private and non-profit events and an up and coming contender for live music, opens its doors this
weekend with an invitation-only opening gala Saturday night and an open house for the public on Sunday.
Jim Ciampi, head of CitySide Events, a Portland-based event planning company and business partner Kevin
McQuinn have renovated and infused new life into the church that has long stood vacant at the end of Pine
Point Road in Scarborough with the conversion to an events and live music venue. With the opening of the
facility this weekend, CitySide, Mr. Ciampi and Mr. McQuinn invite the public in for a sneak peek of The Landing
before the anticipated Paula Cole concert later this month.
In addition to being a premier events facility, The Landing is a full concert and performance venue that will
feature a wide range of artists in a comfortable, captivating setting. The Landing offers its guests a truly unique
performance experience with fantastic sight lines, cabaret style seating and state-of-the-art lighting, acoustic
and AV technology.
The Landing is located in Pine Point, a small but revered beach community in Scarborough, Maine and offers
guests a spectacular setting in which to experience artists or entertain guests for special occasions.
The Landing will feature local, regional and national acts while also hosting public galas, dances and creative
events. As an exclusive partner with CitySide Events, The Landing is available for private parties ranging from
weddings to corporate events.
The Landing at Pine Point hosts its open house on Sunday, May 17 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
