23 skidoo: spontaneous smallworks show begins with unjuried, inclusive call
for art and gathers the works of over forty artists in a collaboration
between drawing room and the Jameson Art Group for one week in June. Without
a theme, this random grouping of artists leads to chance collisions of
meaning and aesthetics, which support expression, exploration, and inquiry
at the heart of artmaking. This exhibit and call for art meets drawing
room's mission to provide opportunities to unhinge perceptions of art and
community in favor of unexpected experiences of both.
