Zone Urban Epic adds Restaurant & Bar Challenge
Portland is known for its fabulous restaurants and pubs, and the staffs at said establishments are known to have fierce pride for the places they work. The founders of the Zone Urban Epic Triathlon support that, and challenge all members of Portland's food and drink establishments to get Zone Urban Epic relay teams together and prove who is the most Epic.
Waitstaff, hosts, bartenders, chefs and even loyal patrons can all race for their restaurant. Form a team of three, wear your establishment's shirts, fight hard for the finish, and celebrate at the festival while holding the winning trophy (which you then can proudly display above your bar).
There's a special registration deal for restaurant & bar relay teams too: 2-for-1 special - sign up one relay team and get a second free! Entry includes race entry, T-shirt, food, live music concert and post-race beer. (With two teams, that comes out to just under $22/person for all the fun!) Join the excitement of the race and the post-race festival on the Maine State Pier featuring Jason Spooner and a Smuttynose Brewing Company beer garden. (Plus a Smuttynose Après Epic afterparty that evening at Novare Res!)
