What: Cooking from a Maine Farmer's Market, a cooking class
When: Wednesday, August 12, 4 to 8 p.m.
Where: Cellardoor Winery and Vineyards, 367 Youngtown Road, Lincolnville, ME 04849
Details: Shop at the Camden Farmers' Market with Chef Lani Temple and learn how to prepare delightful treats with what we find. Location: Our Vineyard Tasting Room in Lincolnville.
On the afternoon of August 12, you will explore Cooking from a Maine Farmer's Market when Lani Temple takes you to the Camden Farmer's Market to shop for fresh and local ingredients. Upon your return to the Cellardoor Winery kitchen, she will lead the class in the preparation of a four-course dinner and share tips on how to keep the pantry well stocked with ingredients that facilitate the creation of beautiful meals with whatever happens to be in season at the market. Students will sit down together to enjoy the meal they have cooked, and learn how to pair wines with each course. Cooking from a Maine Farmer's Market will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. on the 12th.
$75 per person (includes ingredients purchased at the market)
