Howie Day to Release New Album at Scarborough Bull Moose In-store Concert, September 8

Singer-songwriter Howie Day, a native of Bangor best known for his hit singles "Collide" and "She Says", celebrates the release of his new CD on September 8 with a live in-store concert at the Scarborough Bull Moose (456 Payne Road) at 6:00 p.m. Day will be available to meet fans and sign copies of his new album, Sound the Alarm, after the concert.

Day's third full-length album, Sound the Alarm, is being released on September 8, the day he plays at the Scarborough Bull Moose. His last full-length album Stop All The World Now was certified gold in early 2005. The hit single "Collide" from that album was featured on TV shows such as Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy, Bones, and One Tree Hill. Known to be a prolific touring artist, Day toured for five years straight before the release of Stop All The World Now and for another three nonstop years after it came out.

Although free and open to the public, space is limited for the special in-store event with Howie Day on September 8. Beginning at 9:00 a.m. that day Bull Moose will give away wristbands to customers who purchase a copy of Day's new CD Sound the Alarm in their Scarborough store. A wristband guarantees a spot at the in-store concert that evening at 6:00 p.m. Fans will be allowed entrance until space is filled.
