Camden International Film Festival Call for Volunteers

The Camden International Film Festival is seeking volunteers for their 2009 festival. If you, or someone you know loves non-fiction storytelling, or is just looking for a taste of the film industry, please email us at volunteer@camdenfilmfest.org.

This is a great opportunity to be part of the behind-the-scenes action, gain experience in film festival planning, connect with filmmakers, and see a number of documentaries screening for the first, and maybe only time in New England! There are a number of ways to help out including ticket-taking, event catering, driving and ushering. Volunteers will be rewarded throughout the festival by receiving a free CIFF T-shirt and tickets to screenings of their choice, depending on availability. Join the excitement that only an international film festival can provide!

Passes to the 2009 Camden International Film Festival are on sale now through the organization's website, www.camdenfilmfest.org. Usher in fall enjoying some of the year's best independent non-fiction cinema on the coast of Maine at the 5th annual Camden International Film Festival, taking place from October 1st # 4th. Pass options include the VIP Pass that allows admittance to all screenings, panels, special events and parties throughout the weekend, and the CIFF Pass that allows admittance to all screenings and panels.

About the Camden International Film Festival:

The Camden International Film Festival (CIFF) is dedicated to presenting a snapshot of the cultural landscape through the year's best non-fiction storytelling, connecting audiences with the industry's emerging talent to discuss documentary film as an art form, a catalyst for change and as an outlet for the independent voice.

Taking place from October 1#4, 2009, the Camden International Film Festival will screen over fifty documentary features, shorts and a Made in Maine showcase at the Camden Opera House, Bayview Street Cinema, Farnsworth Art Museum and Strand Theatre with Q&As from filmmakers, live music, art exhibits, panels and other special events.
