OrGaNiZeD cHaOs is the creation of Lord Byron, who has been dancing and performing since 2001, everywhere from central Maine to Providence, RI. He is co-founder and co-director of PV-Scene (a fetish-based performance art troupe), creator of the performance art troupe 3 AM, dancer, choreographer, Board of Directors member, and past Producer for Vivid Motion (Portland's kinda quirky dance company responsible for Nutcracker Burlesque), and solo model and performer appearing as Lord Byron and his Drag alter-ego Breathless. This is the fourth OrGaNiZeD cHaOs production, after three highly successful ventures at The Asylum - The Immortals, Pulp Friction, and From The Deep - with his next event taking place 4/3/09: Orient X-Press.

Goldie Peacock performs nationally as a shapeshifting genderblender, contemporary dancer and choreographer, and works as an art model and producer. Ze has appeared at Portland, Maine venues such as the St. Lawrence Arts Center, Geno's, Asylum, Styxx, The North Star Cafe, 1 Longfellow Square, Empire Dine and Dance, The Dooryard and SPACE Gallery, and in Boston at the Midway Café and the Milky Way Café, as well as in New York City at the La Mama Annex and Galapagos. Ze won first place at Oberlin College's 2006 Drag Ball as a queen, and second place in 2005 as a king. Ze has studied and danced with Julie Atlas Muz, Maureen Fleming and Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theater, and holds a Dance B.A. from Oberlin College.

And now, OrGaNiZeD cHaOs and Goldie Peacock are excited to announce their groundbreaking collaboration!

Our intention is to create a performance event that transcends expectations and category. The theme encompasses all areas of change: transformation, rebirth, enlightenment, progression, transcendence, transmutation, etc...whatever the mind can conceive and believe. "REAWAKENED" is a literal spring emergence via performance art and dance.

This show comes at an apt time for change. March 6th (one week prior to the performance date) represents the 6 month anniversary of 'B's attack. He was assaulted - the victim of a hate crime - and wishes to celebrate life and rebirth through the art form he loves so dearly. Also, March 20th - only a week after the show - is the date of the vernal equinox, and we hope that "REAWAKENED" will serve as a symbolic prelude to the coming of spring.
