As you are well aware, this weekend was quite a stormy one for us. It was just plain nasty outside and most people only went out if necessary. I found the storm gave my family something that is hard to find these days, an excuse to do nothing.

My day is filled with to do lists and appointments like many of you. I barely finish something when my mind is already on fast forward to what needs to be done next. I'm busy , busy, busy. So why does it feel like some days I have not accomplished anything at all?

I am sure many of you, like me, are once again scared of this new reality we live in. One where it seems, children are not safe to go to school. After the past week of school violence, only one out of the three shootings was carried out by a disgruntled student. The other two were random acts of violence that could have happened in any community.
