per an article I got from one of your readers, I made an attempt to check the rabies vac. informaiton on my dog's records. I should call the vet to find out for certain what she was given, because the information that is supposed to be filled out on the rabies vac. certificate is blank- all of it. There's a slot for vaccine brand, number, date, etc...and all of it is missing. As so it is on every certificate (our state requires yearly vaccinations, our vets give the 3-year shot, though). The date she was vaccinated is on the certificate and the invoice of services provided states "Rabvac3" followed by either "virus kill" or "killed vaccination", and that's it. Nothing else. No number. Nothing.

The number for pet owners to call Fort Dodge about the recall vaccine is 800-533-8536. Below is a link that will take you to the rabies vaccine recall letter Fort Dodge sent to the veterinarians. Just click on the appropriate icon.
