Care Credit
Do you know about Care Credit? I was surprised to find that most of my friends and no one in my family knew that Care Credit existed.
Did you know that you can get interest free loans for some medical and most Veterinary bills? Good thing the ER clinic takes it because they want 1/2 the high estimate up front, as do most Vet clinics these days.
You may want to take a few minutes and apply now so you know you have it if/when you need it.

Hi Nancy,
About 4 years go Chaplin started to have trouble with his left knee. After hard exercise hed would limp and I'd have to doggy aspirin him for a few day Then 3 years ago he totally ripped the cruciate ligament and needed a TPLO - a $3,000 operation
Thank goodness for care credit because without it I could never have had the surgery performed as quickly as I did.
When I hesitated to set a date for surgery because of the expense, the orthopaedic vet who did not want me to delay the surgery, told me about the plan.

What you may not know about Care Credit (for veterinary services) is that it is administered by GE Money Bank, and that the interest rate may vary dramatically from the initial promotional rate - in the case of Ohio applicants the Annual Percentage Rate for Purchases and Cash Advances is 22.98% (variable), with a Delinquency Rate* 26.99% (fixed). Applicants with blemished credit will be declined but may be offered the to opportunity to still apply but with a co-signer. So, as you should with any credit program, do your homework ahead of time BEFORE actually applying and save yourself from incurring an inquiry on your credit report if you don't think you'll be able to qualify.

I have a GSD, who was recently diagnosed with a small tumor on his spleen. The only way to tell if it's cancer is to have another test done which will cost over 750 dollars. His surgery is about 2 grand. He's my Service Dog and finances are limited, 'cause we only have one income. CreditCare was suggested by a friend. I went to check it out but it seems to be only for humans. Is there a site specifically for pets? We've already put out over 1,000.00 in tests. I have enough to cover the surgery, but it would drain our savings. Does anyone know if it would be better to pay it all at once, or see about paying it in parts?
Nancy says-the emergency clinic in portland has the applications on the front desk.
Hope it works out for you.

Do not use them!!!!!!!!they will take you to cleaners and you will end up paying to the rest of your life. They give you promotional 3 months for no payment and if you dont pay it off they will charge you for all the back interest.
Just called them and asked to lower the interst--NO!!! they offered protection plan - - i told them what to do with it.You better off opening Visa or MC -- do not use them
