Perhaps an internet wide petition could be created (go to http://www.petitionspot.com/ to draft one) calling for the agreement to be rescinded? The word needs to be put out on this action before it becomes a done deal.

This is nothing new. Most pet stores that sell puppies are AKC registered. This is why I refused to register my dog with the AKC when she was a "pet store rescue". As far as I am concerned they are only interested in the money. If they support pet store breeders who have no regard for quality breeding and concern for placement of their dogs then how can the AKC claim they are for " the promotion of the purebred dog"?
