Is it real art or just Mom art?
Saturday's Dog Day event found my 10 year old daughter with camera in hand. She took a lot of great pictures, like this one of ![DSC01816[1].JPG](http://www.mainetoday.com/pets/dogslife/DSC01816[1].JPG)
our good friends Dixie and Cider.
She also took a lot of less traditional photos that I dismissed at first, but after viewing them for a while I think they just may have merit. Art even maybe.
What do you all think? Are they cool, or am I just being a Mom?
Now be objective and let yourself imagine that they were shot by a famous photographer...not a 10 year old with her Mom's automatic digital camera.

Being the Doggie Mommie of Whiskey the Irish Wolfhound shown above-I think it is a cool photo! :)

Nancy, I am a photographer by profession and I always love what kids shoot! They have a very different perspective on the world than we do and a lot of shots can really benefit from the "low point of view" Wish we could have been there on Saturday but had agility class in Edgecomb at 3.

I think that shot featuring (Dixie or Cider's) eye and cocked ear is bears a strong resemblance to many of the shots by Amanda Jones (prominently advertised throughout Bark magazine). Could H be the next Annie Liebowitz for the pet set in the making???
Nancy says:
My big head!!! I went to Amanda's web site and her photo's do look like a bit like some of my kids...
