Free Online Ads Terms of Service Agreement Addendum
Introduction
Thank you for your interest in using MaineToday.com's Free Online Ads service. We want your use of the Free Online Ads service to be hassle-free and trouble-free, and most of all, an effective way to advertise your items for sale.
However, we do have a few straight-forward stipulations by which you must abide.
By submitting your ad, you are agreeing to the following Terms of Service:
1 - MaineToday.com reserves the right to refuse any advertisement at any time
for any reason.
2 - Ads must be for Personal Property owned by you. No ads of a commercial
nature are allowed, nor are ads that promote a commercial business, nor products or services offered by a commercial entity. This includes
service-oriented businesses (carpenters, painters, etc.) and pet breeders.
3 - Ads for any kind of Real Estate property are not permitted, including (but not limited to) houses, apartments, condominiums, time-shares, camps, lodges, commercial buildings, etc..
4 - Ads may not contain any material that may be considered by a reasonable
person to be offensive, or to contain offensive material, such as language,
wording, images, and/or general tone.
5 - Ads may not promote or encourage any illegal activity or items.
7 - Blethen Maine Newspapers reserves the right to change any aspect of these guidelines at its discretion, at any time, and will immediately publish changes to the guidelines as soon as they are made.
