(Freeport HS)

Angus Macdonald - Guitar, Vocals, Jew's Harp
Luke Macdonald - Guitar, Keyboard, Keytar
Thomas Dodge - Bass, Vocals
David Vitali - Drums

The Loudest Mime was concieved in the autumn of 2005 by David Vitali, Thomas Dodge, and Nick Sweet, with the later addition of the Macdonald brothers instead of Sweet. Thier first public appearance was at a school talent show, and they have been playing since. They have played diverse venues, from day spas to art galleries to local clubs like the Station and The Empire. The band became affiliated with MAMM and has worked with instructors like Dave Gutter, Jeff Shaw, Stu Gurley, and Rafael Keilt-Fredre. Through MAMM, they have taken advantages of gigging opportunities as well as recording in a professional studio. The band has also taken initiative on their own to book, organize and promote concerts all by themselves. The Loudest Mime is known for thier energetic performances and unique songs, which show influence from bands ranging from Nirvana and The Kills to Os Mutantes and the Dandy Warhols. In the future they plan on working in the studio again to make a complete album, and are always working on new material.
